I fell in love with Penn and Kim Holderness when they won The Amazing Race—we were rooting for them the whole time. Then, of course, came their hilarious parenting videos. This book has that same humor, but it also gives you a realistic, encouraging way to understand ADHD. It's positive without skipping the challenges, including plenty of things Penn admits he gets wrong. My child with ADHD listened to the audiobook and loved it. He also misplaced our copy, so I ended up with the library book. A very on-theme development. One lovely bonus: someone had dog-eared Kim's list of reasons having a partner with ADHD doesn't totally suck. I loved seeing that. Kids and grownups need ways to feel seen that include warmth and humor.
