How could I not recommend this? Atomic Habits is one of my favorite books for parents. Not because it's about parenting, but because it's about how change actually happens. Most parents I work with feel like they need a total reset: new routines, new behavior plans, new systems. This book reminds us that real change comes from tiny shifts done consistently. For parents of neurodivergent kids, that's everything. We can't fix everything at once, no matter how much pressure we put on ourselves. It's okay to focus on one small habit: a calmer morning routine, one regulation strategy, or one way to connect before correcting. Sometimes coaching gives you the space to see which small change could take the temperature down. Small changes can lower stress, support regulation, and make it easier for kids to learn new skills.
