Food is so hard for many of the families I work with. I want parents to hear this first: you didn't cause this. And feeding can be a very long game. Sometimes a family isn't ready to tackle it yet, and that's okay. This book is written for adults with ARFID, but I was struck by how relevant the stories and small, structured steps can be for parents of extreme picky eaters. It offers hope and helps you understand when professional support is needed. A professional needs to help distinguish ARFID from picky eating. I'm also a mom of two kids with eating challenges—not ARFID. One was a recovered extreme picky eater; the other was improving but still finding food challenging when I wrote about this. Support matters on that journey. With food, we move the needle millimeter by millimeter and celebrate the tiniest wins.

Not sure if this is what you need?

We’ll talk through what’s going on and figure out whether this kind of support makes sense.
